Benjamin Hubert

Founder of the acclaimed London-based agency LAYER, Benjamin Hubert stands at the forefront of contemporary industrial and strategic design. His practice masterfully bridges the gap between advanced technology, artisanal tactility, and human empathy. Hubert excels at stripping away the sterile coldness of tech, integrating smart electronics, furniture, and mobility solutions, from the pioneering 3D-printed GO wheelchair to sculptural audio systems for Bang & Olufsen, into warm, intuitive environments. Driven by purposeful sustainability and rigorous user research, his design philosophy demonstrates that forward-looking technology should never feel intimidating, but rather inviting, enduring, and deeply attuned to everyday life.
